Hello! Welcome to my first personal blog. Today I just finished redoing my entire website from scratch! I’ve had the same website since college – for almost 10 years? There’s been a lot of changes to the internet since then – as I’m sure there will continue to be in the future. The biggest change so far with this upgrade has been converting my entire website to WordPress. I don’t know if at the time I made my first portfolio website if WordPress was ideal for art portfolios so I ended up coding my last website by hand. I’m shocked it didn’t break over the years as browsers upgraded. I guess I got lucky? Lol! Since this is my own blog I can be personal right?

I’ve been making my own websites since I was in elementary and middle school thanks to Neopets. At the time, there was no other choice other than to make them with code by hand. But as the internet has advanced, websites have gotten more complicated and it’s becoming more and more difficult to make something professional by yourself. I think I did an okay job this time though! What do you think? If there’s some bumps and hiccups with this website in the future, I hope you’ll be kind with me as this has never been my day job. 🙂 Now it’s time to get back to making art! Enjoy the shiny new site!
